Thai Massage: $90 - 1.5 hr
Developed within the context of the Theravada Buddhist culture of Thailand, this traditional form of bodywork combines elements of acupressure, yoga & meditative mindfulness. This medical system of ancient Siam is 2500 years young. This technique is practiced very slowly without oils or lotions. The practitioner utilizes his/her hands, feet, knees, and elbows in the application of the work. The work is done on a futon on the floor while the client remains fully clothed in loose-fitting clothing. Thai massage is good for a particular issue or to provide a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating body therapy experience.
Reiki: $70 - 1 hr
Reiki is a non-invasive, natural healing technique that complements other medical forms of treatment. Reiki has been around for 3000 years used for treating specific illnesses as well as promoting general health and well-being for the entire mind, body, & spirit. Reiki is made up of two Japanese words, “REI” meaning Universal or Divine Wisdom and “KI” meaning Life Force Energy. Reiki does relieve stress, reduce inflammation, and gives a feeling of peace as well as countless other wonderful results. Reiki can never cause harm. A Reiki Practitioner or Master can channel the guided life force energy to accelerate the healing process, ease side effects from other forms of medications, shorten recovery time after surgery. It is a powerful method of cleansing lower vibrational energy into higher energy to clear and balance the chakras & aura around the human body, effecting emotional release, bringing light & healing into all the aura bodies. Cleared, programmed, & specific stones move the recipient's vibration into alignment with the planet & universal grid. This results in a freeing of life force energy in the chakras & aura, a healing of the Body of Light, and a transformation of dis-easement into a healthier state of being. The stronger vibration of one object will cause the weaker vibrations of another to begin oscillating at the same time as the other & begin to pulse in harmony.
